Badminton Regional Umpiring Clinic

Where : Canada Games Centre, 26 Thomas Raddall Drive, Halifax.

When : Friday 21st October 2016, 6pm-9pm
Saturday 22nd October 2016, 8:30am-3pm

Cost : Estimated $100.00 (This cost may vary depending on how many participants attend)

Pre-Requisites : NONE

What to bring: Pens, paper, court shoes, clipboard, lunch

This clinic is for people who wish to start off umpiring. The course will cover all the laws of badminton in detail and how to apply them. It will also cover the basic umpiring skills such as how to score games and the verbiage to use during games. There will be an opportunity to put these skills into practice during the course.

This course is also recommended to coaches and players who are just interested in getting a better understanding of the rules and the roles and responsibilities of court officials.

There is a Subway onsite and also water fountains, but please bring any food / drink that you think you will require during the day
