Regional Umpiring Clinic

 Where :        Canada Games Centre, 26 Thomas Raddall Drive, Halifax.

When :          Friday 18st October 2019, 6pm-9pm
Saturday 19th October 2019, 8:30am-3pm

 Cost : Estimated $20.00 (This cost may vary depending on how many participants attend)

Pre-Requisites : Must be at least 14 years old.

What to bring: Pens, paper, court shoes, clipboard, lunch

This clinic is for anyone who wishes to start off in the exciting world of umpiring. The course will cover all the laws of badminton in detail and how to apply them. It will also cover the basic umpiring skills such as how to score games and the verbiage to use during games. There will be an opportunity to put these skills into practice during the course.

This course is also very recommended to coaches and players who are just interested in getting a better understanding of the rules and the roles and responsibilities of court officials.

There is a Subway onsite and water fountains, but please bring any food / drink that you think you will require during the day
