Please do NOT take these as times that the matches will begin.\n\nDirections:\nThe two Bridgewater schools (Elementary and Junior High Schools) are side by side. Take highway 103 to exit 13. Turn toward Bridgewater off the exit ramp. At the second set of lights\, turn right on York St. At the first four-way stop\, go straight. The Elementary school is the first brick building on your left. (The gym entrance is on the opposite side of the building\, on Queen St.) The Jr/Sr High is the second brick building on your left. The gym entrance is at the main door on York St.\nThe YMCA is six blocks away. Go past the Jr. High School\, turn right at the first corner (Dominion St.) go to the top of the hill and turn right on High St.(at Tim Horton’s). The YMCA is on your left\, beside the NSCC. YMCA parking is at the back of the building. If you park in the NSCC parking lot\, you will probably be ticketed! \nPLEASE NOTE: There will be NO canteen at the tournament. \nTimes:\nFriday: warm-up and registration at 4:30\, singles at 5:30. Single may continue into Saturday\nSaturday: warm-up and registration at 8:30\, doubles at 9:00\, with mixed to follow. \nEligibility \nThis is an open tournament. No age restrictions or qualifications required. \nThe competition is open to all athletes who have an active membership with their provincial or territorial badminton association. The competition will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada \nEvents:\nU13\, U15\, U17\, Open A\, Open B and Open C-MS\, WS\, MD\, WD\, XD. \nAge categories – The age group of the player will be based on the age of the player on the LAST DAY of the tournament. For example\, with the Bridgewater tournament\, the players age on OCTOBER 13th will be used.  So\, if a player is aged 12 years old on that day\, they will be able to play in U13. \n\nEntry Fee: All participants must be members in good standing with their respective provincial organization. \nRegistration \n$25 for 1 event\, $30 for 2 events and $35 for 3 events \nEntry deadline: Wednesday\, October 3rd 2018 at 11:59 PM\nWithdrawal deadline: Wednesday\, October 3rd 2018 at 11:59 PM \nShuttles:\nNylon provided for U13 and U15. (Tubes may be purchased for $15 per tube.)\nFeather for U17/ Open A / Open B/Open C. Players provide their own. Tubes may be purchased for $27.00 \nBNS Eyewear Policy:\nBNS strongly recommends all athletes wear protective eyewear. \n
