DESCRIPTION:ENTRY DEADLINE: \nNovember 10th 2017 @ 11:59PM \nUnpaid entries will not be included in the draws. Late entries will be accepted until November 17th 2017 with a 50$ late fee. \nREGISTRATION \nEVENTS: \nEvents will be held in singles\, doubles and mixed doubles for U15\, U17 and U19 age categories. Badminton Canada will be utilizing the Tournament Software online registration system. \nConsolations will be held for all competitors defeated in their first-round match of the main event. It will be the responsibility of each athlete to notify the draw desk\, within 30 minutes of their opening round defeat. Consolation rounds offered time permitting. \nREFUNDS/WITHDRAW PENALTY: \nRefunds are provided to participants\, less a 25% administration fee\, who withdraw prior to the entry deadline of the competition. After the entry deadline\, but before the draws are made\, refunds are provided less a 50% administration fee. Three-minute warm-up and ten-minute default will be strictly enforced. The use of protective eyewear is strongly recommended during play (not mandatory). \nCONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION  \nBadminton Canada will be following the 2018 BWF Calendar year for the entire 2017-18 season. Competition is open to athletes born 2004 or later (U15)\, 2002 or later (U17)\,2000 or later (U19). All participants in Junior Elite Series tournaments must be registered members of BCan or a Member Association of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and provide their member ID upon online registration. \nThe registration fee to become a member of Badminton Canada will be an annual fee (Sept 1st-August 31st) and you must be a registered member in good standing with a BCan provincial membership organization in order to be a registered member of BCan. \n*Non-Canadian association participants will be charged an extra $25 fee for entering a tournament. \n  \nThe maximum number of entrants is 150. Should the maximum entry be exceeded\, priority will be given to players/teams ranked in the top 10 in each event on the Canadian National ranking list. After the top 10 ranked players/teams in each event\, priority will be given to players based on their date of entry onto the tournament.
