DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by Victor and Badminton Nova Scotia \nDate/Time:\nFriday March 2nd:             5pm-10pm\nSaturday March 3rd:        8am-10pm \nThe event (singles\, doubles\, mixed) times will be based on registration and will be posted at the registration site prior to the tournament start date.\nLocation:             Cobequid Educational Centre\n34 Lorne Street\nTruro\, Nova Scotia\nB2N 3K3\nEligibility \nThe competition is open to all athletes who are members in good standing with their provincial or territorial badminton association.  Participants must have an active membership with their province. The competition will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada \nEvents:\nU13\, U15\, U17\, Open A and Open B-WS\, MS\, WD\, MD\, XD \nOrder of Play: Singles will begin Friday. Doubles and Mixed doubles will be played on Saturday. \nAge Categories: \nAge categories – The age group of the player will be based on the age of the player on the LAST DAY of the tournament. For example\, with the Truro tournament\, the players age on March 3rd will be used.  So\, if a player is aged 12 years old on that day\, they will be able to play in U13. \nREGISTRATION \n \nRegistration deadline: Wednesday February 21\, 2018 at 11:59pm \nEntry Fee: All participants must be members in good standing with their provincial organization\n$25 for 1 event\, $30 for 2 events and $35 for 3 events\nShuttles: \nNylon provided for U13 and U15. (Tubes may be purchased for $15 per tube.)\nNylon provided for U15. Feather for U17\, Open A and Open B. Players provide their own. Tubes may be purchased for $27 but limited supply available. \n  \nBNS Eyewear Policy:\nBNS strongly recommends all athletes wear protective eyewear. \nNo food or drink (other than water) is permitted in the gyms.  \nOnly indoor footwear is permitted in the gyms (including spectators)\nPlease change into indoor footwear or go in sock feet.  We want to ensure the gym floors remain clean for the players games and to ensure their safety

No age restrictions or qualifications required. Register early as registration will be LIMITED TO 60 ATHLETES. \nThe competition is open to all athletes who have an active membership with their provincial or territorial badminton association. The competition will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada \nEvents: \nA\, B and C men’s\, women’s doubles and mixed doubles \nPlayers may only register for MAXIMUM OF 2 EVENTS and may only register for one level per event. i.e. if you register for A Men’s doubles you may not register for B Men’s doubles \nOrder of Play:\nDoubles matches for all events (A\, B and C) will be played Saturday starting at 9AM \nREGISTRATION \nRegistration deadline: Wednesday March 14\, 2018 at 11:59pm \nEntry Fee: All participants must be members in good standing with their respective provincial organization.\n1 Event $25\, 2 Events $35 \nShuttles:  \nA&B events are feather shuttle.
