DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by:\nYonex and Badminton Nova Scotia \nTime:    Friday 1pm – 10pm\nSaturday 8am – 9pm\nSunday 9am – 1pm \nLocation: Canada Games Centre\, 26 Thomas Raddall Drive\, Halifax. NS \nRegistration Deadline: Wednesday\, January 30th\, 2019 at 11:59\nWithdrawal Deadline: Wednesday\, January 30th 2019 at 11:59\nLate entries will be accepted until February 1st\, 2019 with an additional fee of $25 \nWithdrawals received prior to the withdrawal deadline will be subject to a 15% administration fee. Withdrawals after the withdrawal deadline and tournament no-shows will not be eligible for a refund.\nIf athletes fail to enter by the deadline\, they will be permitted entry until Friday with a $25 late fee; this structure is similar to the model used by Badminton Canada \nEvents: \nU13\, U15\, U17 and Open . All open athletes guaranteed 3 matches. \nOpen events will be using an “ABCD” format. All athletes start in the same round. For example\, all athletes wishing to play men’s singles should register for “MS”. Your division is selected based on the first two rounds of results. \nPlayers may only register for a MAXIMUM OF 3 EVENTS and may only register for one level per event. E.g If you register for A Men’s Singles you may not register for B Men’s singles\, but you may register for B Men’s Doubles \nOrder of Play: \nSingles begin at 1pm Friday .\nDoubles will begin Saturday morning at 9am followed by Mixed Doubles. \nAll main round finals and bronze medal matches will be played on Sunday. Anyone who is non-medically absent for a scheduled match after their first match of the tournament will lose all points accumulated in the tournament for that event. \nEligibility:\nParticipants must have an active membership with their province. The competition will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada. \nThe age group of the player will be based on the age of the player on the LAST DAY of the tournament.
