U13, U15, U17, Open A, Open B and Open C-MS, WS, MD, WD, XD.
Age categories
U13: born in 2008 or later
U15: born in 2006 or later
U17: born in 2004 or later
Eligibility
This is an open tournament. No age restrictions or qualifications required.
The competition is open to all athletes who have an active membership with their provincial or territorial badminton association. The competition will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada
Shuttles
Nylon provided for U13 and U15.
Feather for U17, U19, Open A, Open B and Open C. Players provide their own.
Tubes may be purchased for $30 but limited supply available.
Entry Fee
$25 for 1 event $30 2 & $35 for 3 events for BNS members
All participants must be members in good standing with their provincial organization

Schedule
Friday: Pre-tournament coaching session
Saturday:
Warm-up and registration at 8:00AM, Singles at 9:00AM, with doubles and mixed to follow.
BNS Eyewear Policy:
BNS strongly recommends all athletes wear protective eyewear.

Friday night will be a DEMONSTRATION TEAM COMPETITION with Limited Teams being accepted (For more information contact Robert Proctor)
Friday schedule will be warmup 5:30-6PM with Team Matchups beginning at 6PM
Depending on Entries there may be 2 divisions A Level and B Level in both Mixed and All Male Categories
Maximum 8 Teams per category
Teams can be
2 Females + 2 Males (Mixed Category)
4 Males (All Male Category)
Format will be
All players on each team can only play 2 events and each team will play minimum of 2 other teams with each team playing the following events
