ADULT “A” PRIZES: Prize Money Total: CDN $750

ADULT “B” & JUNIOR PRIZES:
Medals for finalists and semi-finalists for Adult B categories. Medals for finalists and bronze medal winner for U15 & U17 categories. Prizes for the winner of the consolation draws in all categories.

ENTRY FEE: $60 for first event, $10 for second event, and $10 for third event.

The entry fee must be paid online to Badminton New Brunswick and is non-refundable.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Friday Dec. 29th, 2017 at 11:59 PM EST

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
The competition is open to all athletes who are members in good standing with their provincial or territorial association and must have a National Level or Provincial Level active membership with their province. The competition will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada.

AGE OF PARTICIPANTS:
Adult A & Adult B-open to all ages
U17- must be under 17 during entire tournament. Jan.5,6 & 7th of 2018
U15-must be under 15 during entire tournament Jan.5,6 & 7th of 2018

EVENTS:
Events will be held in singles, doubles and mixed doubles for all age categories. Draws will be single elimination with consolation rounds. Bronze Medal matches will be played in the u15 and u17 categories only.

SHUTTLES: U15, U17 & Adult-Yonex As20 feather shuttles (provided)

CANTEEN: Yes canteen services will be available.

SEEDING & DRAW:
Seeding done by Badminton Atlantic Seeding Committee and draws according to the Canadian regulations. National Ranking system will be used as a guide when completing the draws. Draw will be single elimination with Consolation rounds. Bronze Medal matches will be for u15 & u17 categories only.

EYEWEAR: The use of polycarbonate safety eyewear is strongly recommended.

U15, U17-Université de Moncton
Friday, Jan 5th: 10 am – single (doors open at 9am)
Saturday Jan 6th: 9am – doubles followed by mixed doubles (doors open at 8am)
Sunday Jan 7th: 9 am – Finals (doors open at 8am

Adult “A” & “B”-Université de Moncton
Friday, Jan 5th: 12 noon – single (doors open at 9am)
Saturday Jan 6th: 9am – doubles followed by mixed doubles (doors open at 8am)
Sunday Jan 7th: 9 am – Finals (doors open at 8am
