Badminton Nova Scotia (BNS) Club Memberships
There are many benefits of being a member club with Badminton Nova Scotia – from insurance, to promotion, to tournaments. We are actively looking for new clubs and opportunities for organized badminton to happen in our province so if you are interested in becoming a member club don’t hesitate to complete the enrollment form.
All club memberships are valid annually from September 1 to August 31.
Badminton Nova Scotia has two levels of club memberships to help fit the needs of different clubs across the province.
Member Club – $200 Annual Fee
This membership is meant for clubs that run programs, practices, and training for junior or
senior players and may have coaches, administrators, volunteers and/or staff.
Gameplay Club Member – $100 Annual Fee
This membership is meant for groups that have organized playtimes or gametimes that have a
consistent group of players or drop-ins who book facilities on a regular basis to play badminton.
These clubs likely do not have programs, practices, coaches or staff but require an organizer,
consistent player groups and may require a certificate of insurance for booking purposes and/or
liability/injury.
Requirements to Become or Renew as a BNS Gameplay Club Member:
- Complete the Club Membership Form
- Pay the annual membership fee.
- Provide a roster of active players with payment of $10 per non-registered player annually.
- Renew membership annually prior to September 1 to maintain continuous insurance and
