Former badminton Olympian Anna Rice to host camp in Halifax
Former Canadian Olympic badminton player Anna Rice, is coming to Halifax on July 2nd!
Anna will be hosting two training sessions geared towards competitive players at the Canada Games Centre.
The first session which takes place from 10-11:30 will be for players aged 12-16, while the second will take place from 11:30-1:00 for those aged 17 and over.
Anna is one of Canada’s most successful players having participated in two olympics (2004 and 2008) as well as winning two women’s singles pan am championships. On top of that, her YouTube channel “betterbadminton” has amassed nearly 90 thousand subscribers.
The sessions will cost $25/player. Email [email protected] to sign up no later than Wednesday. Space is limited to 16 players per session.
Coaches are welcome to come watch the session free of charge but must also register to do so.
