Dear Members,

Below is a message from Sport Nova Scotia with respect to the most recent COVID restrictions. I wish all our community members continued health, wellness and safety.

Effective at 8:00am tomorrow morning (Saturday, February 27) sports within the Halifax Regional Municipality, up to and including Porter’s Lake as well as the communities of Enfield, Elmsdale, Mount Uniacke and Hubbards will be restricted to training in groups of up to 25 without social distancing. The number of 25 includes all participants in the sporting activity, (coaches, trainers, etc.) and spectators will not be permitted. Games, competition, and events are not allowed, and all teams/training groups must be consistent.

Nova Scotians are to avoid all non-essential travel within the province especially to and from the restricted areas of the Halifax Regional Municipality, up to and including Porter’s Lake as well as the communities of Enfield, Elmsdale, Mount Uniacke and Hubbards. In all other parts of the province, the rules for sport have not changed. An overview of the regulations for each region can be found here.
