Eligibility
This is an open tournament. No age restrictions or qualifications required.
The competition is open to all athletes. The competition will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada
Events:
A, B and C men’s, women’s doubles and mixed doubles
Players may only register for MAXIMUM OF 2 EVENTS and may only register for one level per event. i.e. if you register for A Men’s doubles you may not register for B Men’s doubles
Order of Play:
Doubles matches for all events (A, B and C) will be played Saturday starting at 9AM，Mixed Doubles will be followed.
REGISTRATION:
Registration deadline: Wednesday December 4th, 2019 at 11:59pm
Entry Fee: All participants must be members in good standing with their respective provincial organization.
1 Event $25, 2 Events $35. All the entry fee will be collected at the registration desk during the tournament.
Shuttles:
All events are feather shuttle. Feather shuttles are not included in the entry fees. Players must supply their own feather shuttles. Feather shuttles will be available for purchase at the event for $25+tax/tube
BNS Eyewear Policy:
BNS strongly recommends all athletes wear protective eyewear.
No food or drink (other than water) is permitted in the gyms as per HRM policy.
Only indoor footwear is permitted in the gyms (including spectators) as per HRM recreation policy. Please change into indoor footwear or go in sock feet. We want to ensure the gym floors remain clean for the players games and to ensure their safety.
Only badminton sneakers is permitted on the courts.
